Simple and straightforward death metal.

Swedish pounding death metal from Hell-Stockholm, this album debut is mean up to the bone, the first impression comes in the shape of a d-beat sound with hefty influences in the Swedish hardcore scene and I can't blame them at all. Surrounded by bands like Avskum, Wolfbrigade, Totalitär and of course the sonic heritage of Anti Cimex mixed up with prominent acts of the Stockholm death metal scene Entombed, Dismember and Grave; So, the outcome can be complicated or interesting, for Crawl's fortune the result is very favorable.

After this brief introduction to the band's overall sound, let's dig up this gem, overwhelming top-notch production, clean, versatile and thunderous, seems like Transcending Obscurity Records scouting team have sharpen their claws lately very well, signing bands like the mighty Master, the blasphemous Sadistik Forest and hellish Aussies Depravity, only to mentioned a few on their current roster. As for the song’s structure, it’s quite simple and straightforward, the length of the tracks is short, but effective. Sick riff and grooves here and there, filthy vocals, with stunning fetid bass lines and intense drumming work.

I can conclude one thing and I would dare to say that you agree with me; Crawl certainly are restoring the hope within Swedish Death metal and they put themselves next to bands like Feral, Revolting and Miasmal.

Stay True... Stay Metal... Stay Brutal...
